My loves are and will always be my wonderful children and my two dogs. I live to make their lives the best and it has always been my goal whenever I think about taking a wedding job. "How will this benefit them and their lives?" That is something I've always wanted to live by and remember. Capturing weddings is a huge passion, but my love for my family is what I strive for beyond the paycheck. Family is everything.
My heart is full when I have a plane ticket in one hand and a camera in the other.
Outside of Wedding and Portrait Photography my other love is Travel Photography. I have a print shop here you can check out!

My Friendships
My kids
Beyond my kids and my furbabies, I love love to travel rather it for work or play. I try to go overseas at least once a year but three to four times would be a dream. My non bio sister lives in Italy with her family and I try to see her when I can. However an Italy wedding would be my ultimate photography dream.
When I'm home in Arizona, I enjoy playing my piano, reading, cooking, wine tasting, and painting (just started painting by numbers and it is a new obsession).
The first time I stepped into a dark room I was 16 years old and it was 1999. I had never developed my own film before in my life and had no idea how to really photograph anything. My Grandfather was an enthusiast photographer during his military days and had a dark room in his house, but he never taught us grandkids. I learned a lot from that year of photo 101 but I was a horrible student. I like to say that was the last time I ever had a film class.
Since then I have been 100% self taught, learning from peers; granted a lot from shooting for others and trial and error. Twenty-six years later (showing my age), I'm happy to say I'm still learning and growing. I don't think I could have ever done another career. In 2009 I started my business and have captured over 300 wonderful celebrations, thousands of families, babies, graduations and engagements. Outside of raising children, it has truly been the joy of my life.
"I knew I wanted Steph to shoot our engagement session & our wedding before I was even engaged! Steph was everything - both her as a person and her beautiful photos! "
Steph captured our wedding day in the most beautiful and thoughtful way. I was truly brought to tears when she sent us the teaser the day after the wedding. We will treasure her photos for the rest of our lives. She was always incredibly responsive throughout the process and we always had so much confidence in what she was doing. We didn’t do a first look and I was always very concerned about time on the wedding day and Steph did such an amazing job keeping everything moving so that we had plenty of time to get amazing photos together. We can’t wait to do another session with Steph in the future! I will hire her over and over again!!

We really enjoyed working with Steph. Our photos turned out beautifully and she has a fantastic eye for composition and a knack for finding genuine moments. She captured the essence of our day perfectly, making us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be happier with the final results and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their special day!
We wanted to create a vintage-inspired event, and we were immediately drawn to Steph’s docu-style aesthetic and use of film cameras. It was important that our photos didn’t feel stale and overly posed. In addition, her professionalism was a breath of fresh air. Steph was able to make the end product beautiful and tasteful. My father passed 2 weeks before the wedding, and her delicate approach to the imagery with my family will never be forgotten.
The pictures speak for themselves. I truly can’t recommend Steph enough for your engagement and wedding photos. She’s incredibly flexible and has the most amazing artistic eye. Some photographers are people who take pictures, but she’s a true artist with a great artistic vision.
She brought different types of cameras and wanted to capture the day creatively but still kept true to color and appearances of the day. I would hire her again 100 times over!
Aura captured the wonders of our day. Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the.
