Julie + Aaron Glacier Montana Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer

The best thing about being a wedding photographer is being able to visit gorgeous locations that i’ve never been to. Whats even better is being able to photograph dear friends and being there to capture one of the best days of their lives. I don’t cry often but Aaron’s vows to Julie were so beautiful I wish I had a video camera. The adoration he has for Julie left no dry eye…even if it did rain during their ceremony.

These two were married in beautiful Glacier, Montana. If you have never been, I highly suggest you visit. It is now one of my favorite locations in the northern united states. I love hiking and traveling and Glacier did not disappoint. If you need further proof, check out their incredible engagement session here. First looks are my favorite thing to photograph because we get more time for pretty pictures before and after the ceremony and the location Julie chose will always be a top ten for me. Even though it did rain for their ceremony, it didn’t faze these two lovebirds. You wouldn’t even know it with how happy these two were. Congrats you guys! I am so honored and grateful that you flew me all the way to Montana to capture your day. I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Steph captured our wedding day in the most beautiful and thoughtful way. I was truly brought to tears when she sent us the teaser the day after the wedding. We will treasure her photos for the rest of our lives. She was always incredibly responsive throughout the process and we always had so much confidence in what she was doing. We didn’t do a first look and I was always very concerned about time on the wedding day and Steph did such an amazing job keeping everything moving so that we had plenty of time to get amazing photos together. We wanted to create a vintage-inspired event, and we were immediately drawn to Steph’s docu-style aesthetic and use of film cameras. It was important that our photos didn’t feel stale and overly posed. In addition, her professionalism was a breath of fresh air. Steph was able to make the end product beautiful and tasteful. My father passed 2 weeks before the wedding, and her delicate approach to the imagery with my family will never be forgotten.
