Mountain Shadows Arizona Wedding | Haley & Cory

This gorgeous Scottsdale, Arizona wedding was my final wedding of 2017  and I am so honored to share it today. This stunning venue and amazing couple could not have ended the year off on a better note. Haley and Cory are such beautiful people inside and out and their incredible attention to detail and love for one another is what I love about what I do. They are the kindest and most genuine people you will ever meet and I am so thankful that I got to be with them on their wedding day. I wish I could put into words how special their first look was to witness. The love Cory has for Haley will make anyone tear up. These two are such an amazing couple and I can not wait to watch their love grow. Thank you so much for allowing me to witness your beautiful day!

Kelsey + Sam | Desert Engagement

If all of my future couples are as fun as Kelsey and Sam then I will never work a day in my life! Seriously adored this desert engagement session that I shot the week of Thanksgiving. They were so fun and we had a great time trekking around cactus and hills! The light in this state is incredible and if you are on the fence about a desert session let this shoot show you why I love shooting these types of engagements. Spring is also around the corner and the desert is even more beautiful because of the flowers starting to bloom!

Elaine + Andrew | Scottsdale, Arizona Wedding Photographer

This fall has been such an amazing season for gorgeous weddings and beautiful couples. I am so grateful that Elaine and Andrew were referred to me by a past a bride and groom. They are such a fun and rad couple! I love connecting with bride and grooms. If we can sit and have happy hour or a coffee date you know it was meant to be! Partying with these two was so fun. I think the best part was during the reception when Andrew bust open his pants when his friends lifted him during The Hora. It was hilariously amazing! Make sure to check out those pics at the end of this post! Congrats Elaine and Andrew, I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Lindsey + Tony | The Boulders Resort and Spa | Arizona Wedding Film Photographer

This gorgeous wedding at The Boulders Resort in Scottsdale Arizona was the perfect way to start off my fall wedding season. Lindsey and Tony are such a sweet and endearing couple. They were so laid back and I love it when bride’s just let the day unfold. We couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day. The most memorable part of the day was during their ceremony a friend that works for a animal release rescue, released a hawk into the wild. It was such a fun and surprising thing to witness. I love when couples think outside of the box and watching that was incredible!

Meghan + Kevin | Payson, Arizona Film Engagement

Because I live in Arizona and because we are in a desert, it is often hard to truly find fall. We have two seasons. Hot and not so Hot. Unfortunately for us, we don’t get much of the red’s and yellow leaves. At least not in the valley. For this landscape you have to head up north. Luckily Meghan and Kevin were adventurous and trekked the beautiful Payson landscape…and in heels no doubt! We have a place up north and the area around it is gorgeous. I recently found this rocky river and it is one of my favorite locations currently. The light, and the way it comes through the trees is simply magical.

Being in the wedding industry for over 8 years now, has given me the knowledge about what exactly you need and don’t need on a wedding day. Annabelle & Jackson | Arizona Film Family Photographer

My goal for this year is to share more of my personal life. If you follow me on Instagram you will sometimes see my golden puppy Rizzo but also pictures of my kids from time to time. Because I’m wanting to share my life just as much as I am over there, here are some pictures that I took of my munchkins last spring. These pictures were luckily prior to when my intuitive six year old decided to be a hairdresser and chopped her and her brother’s hair. I feel like as a mother it was a right of passage.

I captured these images near our family property in Payson, Arizona. We separate a lot of our time up north. It is such a beautiful place to visit if you’ve never been. I love to escape to the beautiful trees and greens that are sometimes hard to find in our desert. During the winter and summer months we tend to be there for months at a time. Coming back down the mountain to reality isn’t easy as you will see in these photographs!

Megan + Matthew’s Exquisite Sedona Wedding | Arizona Film Wedding Photographer

Often when I meet bride’s I like to hear about all the juicy details. I’m no wedding planner by any means, but I do love to hear about the wedding themes, decor and where she bought her dress. I think that’s why I’ve stuck with weddings for so long. Cinderella was my favorite movie growing up and so imagining dressing up and going to a grand ball has always interested me. When it came to hear Megan’s wedding, I just knew this one was going to be something incredible. Megan has impeccable style and is gorgeous to boot. Megan is one of my oldest friends. We met in junior college in an acting class. She was one of those girls that people just clung to. She was extremely easy to talk to and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I’m happy to say we’ve remained close friends ever since.

Capturing long life friends’ life events is one of the reasons why I love being a photographer. It is a true honor to be able to give memories to someone who I care about. Thank you Megan and Matthew for being my friend above all for letting me laugh, smile and cry with you on your incredible and beautiful day. I will cherish your wedding forever.

Jessica + Caleb’s Elegant Backyard Wedding | Arizona Film Wedding Photographer

I’ve known Jessica and Caleb for several years and when she told me she would be marrying her beau I was so ecstatically happy for them. They are one of those couples that when you look at them, you just immediately know that their love is eternal. The way that Caleb looks down at Jessica when she doesn’t notice is something beautiful to witness. I saw him secretly staring at her several times throughout their wedding and I almost teared up a few times. Love is so incredible to watch. Jessica’s family’s house in the desert is stunning and it was the perfect backdrop for their day. Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding. Thank you Jessica and Caleb for letting me capture your beautiful wedding day!

Seville Golf & Country Club Wedding | Christina + Anthony | Arizona Film Wedding Photographer

My favorite thing about spring weddings in Arizona is the colors! I love bright and pops of color and this wedding that I captured for Christina and Anthony was no exception. I knew that I wanted their greens,  rose and champagne colors to sparkle so I chose for all portra film. I love how greens look on film and portra (in my opinion) is the best at showing this.

I met Christina a few years ago when she worked at another country club as a wedding planner. Still a wedding planner, yet at a different location; we have remained friends and industry acquaintances. I knew because of Christina’s background that her wedding would be spectacular. Being everything and more, I am so excited to have been there to capture such an important day for her and Anthony. Nothing was forgotten and the details were simply incredible. Here are some of my absolute favorite images. Congrats Christina and Anthony! I am so excited for you both.
