This last year I traveled to Europe a couple times. After my divorce I promised myself I would travel abroad as it was something that I’ve always wanted to do and wasn’t a priority before. When 2022 started it was a resolution of sorts to step out of my comfort zone and discovery myself. This May trip will always be a stepping stone to that journey. I did learn on this trip that as much as I wanted to love the city and the sights, I did love the local areas more. I’m not much a city girl; living in Arizona will do that to you. So my favorite areas weren’t the touristy ones. However Versailles was absolutely phenomenal and I hope to visit the gardens next time I go to France. That place is absolutely incredible.
