This summer we’ve swam in our backyard way more than we did last year. Normally we spend our lives vacationing and traveling. Especially in the summer. If you’ve lived in Arizona long or even visited in the summer it is the worse time to be here. 115 degree plus weather kicks your butt and for us we tend to choose those months to visit family in other states or visit new locations we’ve never been to. Last summer we spent almost 6 weeks of the kids vacation somewhere else.

Like so many others, we had to change and alter our plans and so we’ve spent more time at our cabin up north and in our backyard swimming. This summer I bought a little point and shoot camera that I’m going to be implementing into my wedding and portrait workflow and gave it a good practice on the kids.
