Desert Elopement | Arizona Elopement Photographer

My vision for this shoot was to bring a new look to what an elopement or small wedding can look like. Just like most wedding photographers we thrive on the details of capturing beautiful wedding details but deep down for me it has and will always be about the couple first. My couples have mentioned to me time and time again that their favorite images have always been the ones with the two of them together and their family pictures. And this is exactly what a wedding should be. A wedding is first and foremost, about the two of you. It is about your story, your love and those who are there to witness your story unfold. I wanted to show how beautiful that can be. But if you’ve been following my work you will know, I like things a little more out of the box.

That being said, I didn’t buy a wedding dress but went a lot more casual. I wanted something that would feel real and organic. My models are a real husband and wife and this was also intentional. Working with high end models is fun but when you put them in a romantic situation, it never feels real to me. I love working with real couples because the images and life you see is again: Organic. True.

Thank you to my amazing friends for modeling for me. The ‘bride’ you see here is an incredible planner so if you are looking for someone, I highly recommend you check out Blossoms and Grace. And a huge thank you to my friend Sara who supplied the stunning florals. You can check out her work at Sarah’s Garden Style.
